MLM Recruiting Tips

Here’s a question for you. Why are you reading this page right now? Are you new to the industry and want to get a leg up on the latest, moste effective MLM recruiting strategies? Are you looking to get into the industry? Or are you struggling and on the precipice, ready to dump every last drop of juice or gel vitamin down the toilette and call it quits?

Easy now. If that’s you, let me walk you off that ledge. And if you’re a fresh newbie, stay with me, cause there’s really no need to freak out. In case you haven’t heard, the game has changed quite a bit since your mommy and daddy’s MLM business days. In other words, it really ain’t that bad anymore. Trust me.

See, here’s the deal. We all know the MLM home based business arena bears a huge black eye. No matter what you hear from your upline, what the big guys do at the top isn’t exactly duplicatable for the guys at the bottom. Just ask Randy Gage how many broke 30-year-olds he pitches his business to. Nah, Randy is too busy talking to every heavy hitter making six-and-seven figures.

So how do you deal with the fact that your upline wants you to start with a blank piece of paper and fill it with the name of everyone you know. What do you do when you’re asked to roam malls and parking lots handing out DVDs, magazines and flyers? What do you when you’re asked to speak to anyone with a pulse, even if they’re on a ventilator? Truth be told, if marketing firms did business this way they’d be sued, crucified and out of business in a blink of an eye.

But this is where I’m going to sound slightly contradictory. You see, it’s not that you shouldn’t work your warm market. It’s not that you shouldn’t pick up the phone and talk to people about your business with a personal touch. This is, and always will be a people business. You must connect with others if you want to make money. What I’m saying, however, is that there is a better way to qualify who you talk to so that you aren’t wasting your time or theirs.

A lot of people ask my why I decided to build my MLM home based business online. Well, the answer is simple. I have a wider net I can cast over a more targeted and focused group of people who actually give a hoot’s behind about my business. What a concept, right? See, it’s not that suddenly the percentages drastically change when you move your business online. You still only attract a small number of your total leads into your business. The difference is that you’re dealing with larger global numbers and more pre-qualified prospects.

You let the system filter the tire-kickers and turn those into cash anyway by letting the system sell them products they want. Often times, the smaller, more qualified leads will probably leave you a phone number, which is just the same as sky-writing “I want to talk to you, please call me.” Those are the folks you spend your time with and recruit with absolute ease once you build a relationship and you let the process unfold.

Folks, I have always believed in the network marketing business model. I’ve always known it could make the average individual rich regardless of background, training, business knowledge, etc. I just dislike the way I was asked to promote the company and product the whole world is suppose to love and herald. While I know I can’t ever toss my phone away, I much prefer leveraging a process that gets me a yes 7 out of 10 times.
