My Jewel Kade review and first impressions.

Jewel Kade Necklace

So a few weeks ago, my dear friend called me up and told me she was thinking of signing up with a direct sales custom jewelry company called Jewel Kade. It so happened that right around that time frame, I was heading to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic to attend my youngest sister’s high school graduation. So, I figured I’d check out some of this hip pewter jewelry as a potential graduation gift.

Well, apparently I made the right choice because the gift was a huge hit. That’s a picture of my sister wearing one of her new necklaces, by the way, just so you know I’m not blowing smoke up your you-know-what. Not only that, but my friend can’t seem to go anywhere without getting compliments and inquiries on her new trendy jewelry whenever she wears it. So I decided to write a review because I think the time ir right for this opportunity if your quick to act.

For starters, Jewel Kade was founded in 2008 by Janet Kinkade. According to the Jewel Kade corporate website, the company showcases a:

“fresh take on timeless fashion. It’s worn by those who celebrate life, and those who treasure unforgettable accessories. Handcrafted quality. Intriguing embellishments. Eye-catching artwork. Exclusively from designer Janet Kinkade.”

Whatever the case may be, Kinkade and her growing group of JK stylists (that’s what independent distributors are called) have a huge hit on their hands. Jewel Kade has already been featured on The Today Show, The Ellen Degeneres Show and American Idol. No small feat.

So why is the Jewel Kade story so buzz worthy? One quick glance at their catalog will tell a big part or the story. Even as a guy, I have to admit the jewelry is pretty trendy and cool. I actually enjoyed putting together different combinations before settling on two necklace/chain ensembles for my sister (Hey, what can I say. I am art director/graphic designer by trade. Creativity is in my DNA). I also appreciated the authenticity of each handcrafted piece, the hand-cut glass, the artwork showcased on the charms which is printed on real canvas as opposed to paper, and the “ooh-ah” touches like Swarovski crystals and German Glass Glitter.

All in all, this looks like a great opportunity for part-time mommies or even full-time professionals who want to make some extra cash on the side. If you’re serious and have time, a lofty full-time income is quite possible as well. In fact, five-figure monthly paydays are not uncommon when you consider that Jewel Kade is a relatively young company and there is practically no JK stylist saturation in any one area.

The primary marketing method is hosting home parties, which has been working well so far for my good friend and apparently makes for quite the ladies night considering the product. You also get your own internet store front for easy, no-hassle direct sales. Stylists keep 30% of party sales, submit their orders online and Jewel Kade handles the rest. There are, of course, ways of leveraging the sales activity of your personally enrolled stylists to create residual income. You will need to contact a stylist directly to obtain those details as Jewel Kade prefers not to disclose their compensation plan publicly on their website.

To get started, you simply select a starter kit which includes preselected inventory to showcase at potential parties. Once you have your kit, all you have to do is start hosting parties and taking orders. This makes the business model highly duplicatable, simple to implement, and fun.

Of course, to really get things off the ground, you’ll want to consider moving your MLM recruiting efforts online and putting a solid internet marketing system in place. Trust me, this is the single, fastest way to grow any network marketing or direct sales business. Your reach will expand exponentially, and you’ll be able to attract a highly targeted audience who will be very receptive to the Jewel Kade opportunity.

If you’re thinking of joining Jewel Kade as a business venture, you will need to recruit a good handful of stylists you can coach, train and help get qualified. That’s how you build the residual income you want quickly. The best way to attract the right caliber of prospect is to sell yourself as a leader and an expert. Don’t push the business opportunity itself or you’ll risk losing potential stylists. Instead, learn to brand yourself and market your Jewel Kade business on the internet like many of today’s successful internet-style network marketers.

As always, a good place to start is by getting solid training. Here’s a peek at a fully customizable system I use to attract Jewel Kade leads for my partner. Honestly, ladies, if not for my love of cars, gadgets and beer, I’d be all over this JK stuff. But I figured at least I can show you how to build large teams of stylists and make a whole lot of moola instead.

As always, here’s to your storied success…
