Everyone wants a free lunch. But in my experience, “free” always comes at a price of some sort. That’s kind of how I feel about cheap and even free MLM lead generation tactics. It sure beats paying $8 a click for the top niche keywords on pay-per-click, but don’t expect to waltz into your local Mercedes Benz dealer next week to pick up a new ride.
But, what if I said you could make that trip to the showroom in six months? Maybe 12 months if you don’t quite have enough time to spare developing your low-cost MLM lead generation strategy. Suddenly the price isn’t that big a deal is it?
Here’s the skinny. Unless you’re Johnny “Money” Bags, you’re gonna want to get real good at this organic MLM lead generation business. It’s not just because it’s free, but because it’s also some of the highest quality, targeted network marketing traffic you can get. Especially when you leverage social media and content marketing. In this space, people are looking to make genuine connections with like-minded folks. If you do a good job of providing free and transparent value, you will start to build an unbelievably loyal following of friends. Many of whom you can monetize multiple times at the drop of an email later on down the line.
In fact, just so you know, multiple-six figure incomes are being manufactured faster than an iPad production line simply by building quality relationships through attraction marketing principles and social networking sites. If you have a blog, you can build strong search engine credibility thanks to content syndication and sharing. And of course, if you’re into writing articles and spinning that content to maximize your MLM lead generation efforts, then you benefit from one hell of a back linking strategy. Not to mention that article marketing goes a long way towards elevating you to authority status in your niche.
So why aren’t more people doing this? Well, because most folks think it takes too much flippin’ time. And they’re right. If they’re not organized and well informed that is. The truth is that you should spend no more than a couple of hours—maybe three—on social media marketing. Any more than that and you risk not coming accross as genuine or natural.
You should’t try to write a Nobel-Prize-winning article series every week either. And as for blog posts, two-to-three short posts a week will do, with perhaps a longer featured post every couple of weeks. If you take the time to device an organized MLM lead generation action plan—and I admit I’m not the most disciplined in this area—you should have no problem chunking down your MLM lead generation strategies into manageable bite-sized segments.
For instance, I use a worksheet to outline my work week. Mondays I might spend a few hours setting up my blog content for the week. Wednesdays I might dedicate a few hours exclusively to content marketing. And every day, I may spend 20-to-30 minutes adding new friends to Facebook and expanding my MLM lead generation to other social media channels. Setting up a structure will help you manage the bigger picture and take away some of the anxiety of performing all the different tasks you’ll need to engage in.
Now, of course, here comes the news no one likes to hear. The part where I tell you that the best information you can find on effective MLM lead generation is the kind you pay for. Sorry guys and gals. Sue me, but that’s the honest truth. The best I can do is point you to the most cost-effective options out there.
For starters, check out my article on my top 3 MLM lead generation strategies on the cheap. Then, when you’re done rolling your eyes, go and introduce yourself to Mike Dillard’s Building On A Budget (BOAB), which I personally own and use. BOAB is a funded proposal for some of Mike’s other training products, so don’t expect the sun and the moon. It’s a great place to start and give you a bird’s-eye view of how to device a cheap MLM lead generation strategy, but it’s not exactly going to hold your hand. If you have a few extra bucks at your disposal, I would rather look at the MyLeadSystem Pro trial, blaze through the training and go do your thing.
That said, there are some freebie resources you should keep tabs on. You most definitely want to bookmark Katie Freiling and Jim Chao’s blog. They are absolutely killing the social media scene and making money hand over fist. And of course, you should bookmark this blog and subscribe to my RSS feed for up to the minute updates. As PPC costs get more out of hand, I’ll definitely be looking to generate more organic MLM leads and I will definitely share what’s working with you all.
To your continued success…
