Sorry, but your marketing system isn’t worth jack.

Marketing systems are worthless without personal branding value.

Oh, don’t get me wrong. I whole heartedly recommend using one. In fact, I wouldn’t build a network marketing business today without leveraging an internet marketing system as my primary lead generation vehicle.

After all, the principles of attraction marketing, as taught by the likes of Mike Dillard and co., rely heavily on the proven time-saving benefits of current internet technology.

But, if you’re asking questions like: “which system generates more leads, or which one has more bells and whistles,” then you’ve already missed the point of attraction marketing. In which case you instantly handicap yourself and the system’s effectiveness.

You see, as a veteran marketing professional, I can assure you that the system itself is just a tool. A facilitator of leverage. A platform designed to effectively amplify the real value exchange to your potential prospects: you!

Sure, there are reasons why I chose to implement the system I currently use over other marketing resources.

But if you took away that resource, I would still be successful. And that’s because the true value I convey to my audience is not in the marketing tools I use to expose my leadership skills and expertise. It’s in my personal brand, which I built by leveraging my existing knowledge, while also expanding on other specialized areas pertinent to my business.

That is why you strategically craft your personal value proposition first before diving blindly into marketing tactics. Because at the end of the day, no amount of marketing will make you a dime if you have no value to market in the first place.

After all, marketing is the act of bringing brands to market. So do your due diligence and  make sure you have one to offer.

Don’t focus so much on the features, popularity scale or affiliate payout of a particular lead generation system. Instead, focus on learning as much as you can about the underlying concepts of attraction marketing itself, which of course are rooted on sound branding and marketing principles.

A solid grasp in these areas will instantly elevate your image as a knowledgeable expert and leader. And that, more so than marketing, will go a long way towards generating tons of targeted leads and recruiting into your MLM business with ease.
